Ellis launches Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger at Data Centre World Frankfurt

Ellis has expanded its cable support portfolio with the launch of the new Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger. The new heavy-duty hanger will be unveiled at Data Centre World Frankfurt, designed to meet the growing demands of modern high-capacity cable infrastructure.

As data centre facilities scale to support greater power density and increasing volumes of critical cabling, the demand for stronger and more reliable cable support systems continues to rise. Developed in close consultation with leading industry players, the Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger has been engineered specifically to address these evolving installation challenges, providing a robust support solution for heavy cable runs in demanding installation environments.

Available in a wide range of sizes from 6” to 25”, Hercules has been designed to give installers greater flexibility across a variety of cable diameters and installation requirements. This versatility ensures customers can specify a cable hanger solution that meets the needs of both current and future infrastructure demands.

Built for strength and durability, Hercules offers installers a dependable method of securing heavier cables while maintaining installation efficiency and long-term reliability. The product is designed to perform in high-load applications where mechanical strength and cable integrity are essential, helping customers achieve resilient cable installations without compromising on ease of installation.

In addition, the Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger is UV-resistant, making it suitable for installations where sections of containment may be exposed to external conditions, such as transition zones, perimeter runs, or partially covered infrastructure routes.

The launch comes at a time when data centre contractors are under increasing pressure to deliver infrastructure that can accommodate larger power cables, higher electrical loads and faster deployment schedules. In these environments, the integrity of the cable support system plays a critical role in ensuring both operational reliability and installation safety.

Kelly Brown, Sales Director at Ellis, said:

“As data centre infrastructure grows in scale and complexity, the need for dependable heavy-duty cable support becomes increasingly important. Hercules has been developed in partnership with industry experts to provide installers with a strong, practical solution that supports heavier cable runs while offering the flexibility, durability and UV resistance along with the reliability customers need and have come to expect from Ellis.”

Launching Hercules at Data Centre World Frankfurt places the product in front of key stakeholders involved in the design and installation of mission-critical infrastructure, including contractors, consultants and specifiers working across hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centre projects.

Visitors to the Ellis stand (G091) will be able to see how the Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger supports efficient installation practices while delivering the strength needed for high-capacity cable systems.

With the launch of Hercules, Ellis continues to expand its range of cable management solutions designed to help the data centre industry build safer, stronger and more resilient electrical infrastructure.
