Leading cable cleat manufacturer, Ellis Patents has strengthened its export credentials by appointing a second export manager. Isabelle Gantier-Houston has worked extensively in export, sales and marketing roles during her 20 plus year career, and joins a sales team that actively sells into over 50 different international markets.
Rillington-based Ellis Patents has further strengthened its sales team by appointing Kirby Gregory as a sales and customer service executive.
Kirby, who comes from Scarborough, joins an eight-strong sales team that is responsible for securing specifications for, and sales of, the company’s cable cleats around the world.
Ellis Patents’ tool-room manager, Mark Angus likes to think big in his spare time. His hobby? Building steam engines in his backyard.
Over the last eight years Mark’s been working on a full-scale replica of a Foster steam engine, which was originally built by William Foster & Co in Lincoln in the early 20th century. The end result is a 4½ tonne, fully functioning replica that has been registered by the DVLA meaning it can be driven on the road.
